I'm new and was wondering if you could teach me about the ecosystem here?

We are located in Australia, home to the Great Barrier Reef and also home to over 1,500 species of fish! Our temperature stays around 24C - 30C and our reef spans over 133,000 square miles! 

Australia is located in the Southern Hemisphere close to the equator. This explains Australia's weather!

Like me, other sea animals also adapt to their environment!

The octopus has adapted to its environment by changing its color to blend in, and to also shoot ink when in a state of danger.

Clownfish have also adapted to be

immune to sea anemone and seek shelter

inside them.

Even Oswald has adapted to survive by being

a pufferfish and puffing up your toxin-filled spines to protect himself!

Even coral has adapted to the environment!

Fire coral has adapted to the environment by 

having tiny hairs on the ends of their arms that cause immediate inflammation and a burning sensation. 

Kelp has adapted to live in deeper waters. 

Instead of kelp having roots, it has holdfasts

and blades.  

The sea anemone has also adapted by stinging its prey .
