There are many types of polynomials and here are just a few. The first one we will talk about is a monomial. A monomial is a polynomial with one term. An example provided on the next page.
The next type of polynomial is a binomial. Of course, the prefix "bi" means two. So, the difference between a monomial and a binomial would be that a binomial has plus or minus signs otherwise known as addition or subtraction signs which connect two terms.
