


One day, a trader from far away began his long journey in the boiling Sahara Desert. Crossing the Sahara was tough, traders battled extreme heat, sandstorms, lack of water, and threats from any raiders or other traders along the way. That being said the trader was looking for one thing. The Taghaza Traders and their goods they had to offer.




The Taghaza people had one very valuable resource everyone wanted, that resource was Salt. The Taghaza people had salt mines that they used to harvest the resource and then trade for resources like gold or copper in return from the outside traders.
