To everyone,
Remind yourself that you are magic.

In the town of Evergreen, the streets were always filled with laughter, and colorful shops all lined up perfectly. But at the corner of the street, there was a plain antique store that stood out like a stain in a shirt. The antique store belonged to Ms. Janice, who was rumored to be a witch because of a secret that no one else knew about.

One bright and sunny afternoon, a group of school friends decided to go for a walk. Ella, Victor, and Sofia always felt as if they did not belong, and they felt out of place. Everyone in town seemed to be joyful, expressive, and full of risk-takers. Often, thoughts would always cloud their minds like “What am I missing?” or “Is there something wrong with me?"

Ella always had a hard time expressing herself. People often mistook her as being too quiet and never dared to talk to her. “I wish I could find different ways to express myself.” thought Ella.

“Okay, I can do this. Today is the day that I will try!” Victor would often say this to motivate himself and try something new. He was afraid of trying anything new for fear that he might fail. “I wish I could let go of fear,” he said in a whisper.

Sofia always admired seeing her mom help her neighbors or everyone in town. She wished to be just like her, but she was shy and did not dare to talk to anyone new.

As they continued to walk, they realized they had walked to the corner of the street. They looked at each other puzzled, “Sh-should we go in?” asked Sofia. “I think we should,” said Victor.

Ding ding ding, three bells for each one of them. “Well, hello children,” said Ms. Evergreen. “I have been expecting you, and I want to show you something I think you will like very much."
