Albino Amazon
Amazement
By: Nathan
Poovey

Day 1 “rrrrrrr” The extremely loud engine knocked
out any chance of conversation. I didn’t need to talk
because I already knew my mission. My mission was
to find and bring in an albino Belgium tiger sighted
in the Amazon rain forest for scientific research. My
friend and pilot, Robert signaled me to get ready. To
get ready to jump from the plane into the endless
green called the Amazon. I already had my wingsuit
on and ready so I stepped out into the sky. I opened
my arms and glided into a clearing which led me
from the canopy to the understory, and finally the
flowery forest floor. Using my parachute I glided in
for a landing and landed.

Day 4 I’ve been searching for three days and have
turned up nothing. A noise startled me. The noise
was a growl so I slowly turned and there was the
albino tiger! I started running between the 20 feet
wide smooth barked trees. As I was running I saw
other animals fleeing the area from my left. I
looked over, “Oh no” I thought.
