Once there was a kingdom, big and tall. All of the creatures were living very peacefully until one day, a giant monster came into their town. He was mean, and wanted to destroy their homes.

We should be kind!

All of the creatures went to their mighty leader who cared for them all. He wanted to keep him safe but did not know how. But then, the smallest creature said out loud, "We should try to use kindness. He might give us kindness back! My teacher used to say, 'Treat others how you want to be treated'." The king loved this idea, and told his guards to go talk to the monster.

The monster began to become kind, and told them his story. He told them that when he was just a baby monster, nobody would accept him. He was treated unfairly just because he was a monster. He was happy when he got revenge.
