A Dog of a Different Color

Charley was a happy dog, but he wasn't like the rest!

He was brave but also afraid. Not afraid of monsters, or the dark. Those things didn't bother him much.

He had a trip to the park coming soon, and he was afraid of the other dogs at the park not liking him.

 He wondered if they would accept him. Would his fur be an issue?

 You see, Charley was different from the other dogs because his fur was bright green!

 When he was a stray dog in his old town, there was a chemical spill that turned him and some other animals bright green.

 Charley and the other dogs were taken to a shelter where he was soon adopted by a loving family that recognized his unique qualities, despite his good health.
