The Ancient Greek culture impacts us
very much today. They impacted us
through inventions, art, architecture,
language, government, and so much
more. The Greek civilization created a
way of life for people all around the word
today. The first enduring impact from
Greece is their inventions and inventors.
Inventions and Inventors
Eureka!
Ancient Greek inventors impact us today. They
impact us because Aristotle explained the
importance of levers and pulleys which help us
to understand balancing and weights. Euclid
invented the geographic book,(which becomes
geometry) and Pythagoras was amazing at
geometry (which helps us to learn even more
about geometry.) Hippocrates inspired modern
medicine and taught that disease was not a
punishment from the gods. In other words,
being ill was caused by something you ate or
drank, not a god punishing you.

famous Ancient Greek
inventors.
Along with
inventors/inventions, art
was a very important
lasting impact of today.
Art, Music, and Theatre
Ancient Greek art impacts us today. It
impacts us because it was formed
through the Olympics and theatre (with
sculptures, paintings, and music as
well, but that developed later on) and
now has developed further into greater
Olympics and visual effects and more
genres of the theatre, as well as more
paintings, sculptures, and music.

three main columns (Ionic, Doric,
and Corinthian) are used in many
buildings in central cities today.
These cities include Washington
D.C, New York City, Chicago, and
Cleveland.
