Once upon a time, in a world filled with delicious fruits, there was a brave mango named May.

May had a special mission that was to explore the inside of a little boy named Jimmy and learn about his amazing organs.
Mango May began her mission by entering Jimmy's mouth. The mouth was like a gateway, where the journey began.

She saw lots of teeth that helps to chew and break down the food. It was here that May met saliva, a magical liquid that helped turn carbohydrates into sugars and where she was mechanically broken down by Jimmy.
After Jimmy chewed up and swallowed May, she slid down his throat, which was like a slippery slide into the pharynx. The pharynx helped guide May into the esophagus, a long and winding tunnel that led to the stomach.

The pharynx is located at the back of your mouth and nose and is a membrane-lined cavity that connects the two to the esophagus.
The esophagus is a sort of tube that food travels through to reach the stomach and it connects the pharynx to the stomach.
May discovered a squishy bag that was always churning and mixing. This was where the food was broken down further by stomach acid and enzymes, especially proteins.

But May's adventure didn't stop there! She continued into the small intestines. A winding maze filled with excitement!
Here, May encountered special enzymes that worked their magic. Breaking down carbohydrates into sugars, proteins into amino acids, and lipids into tiny droplets. It was like a team of superheroes working together to make sure Jimmy's body got all the nutrients it needed!
