WRITING PROCESS
The writing process is a series of steps that involve planning, writing, and revising a text. It begins with idea generation, followed by organizing these ideas into a coherent structure. Then, we proceed to write the content clearly and effectively. That is to say, the final phase involves reviewing and correcting the text to improve its quality and ensure that it meets the communicative purpose.
The 7 steps of the writing process.

1. Pre-Writing
During this phase, you engage in activities like brainstorming, freewriting, outlining, and researching. The goal is to generate ideas, gather information, and plan the structure and content of your writing.

2. Drafting.
In this stage, you start writing your first draft based on the ideas and outlines developed during the pre-writing phase. It's important to focus on getting your thoughts down on paper without worrying too much about perfection.

3. Responding.
This step involves gathering feedback from peers, instructors, or other sources. You may receive comments, questions, or suggestions that help you refine your writing and consider different perspectives.

4. Revising.
Here, you review and rework your draft to improve its clarity, coherence, organization, and overall effectiveness. You may make significant changes, such as rearranging paragraphs, adding or deleting content, or strengthening arguments.

5. Editing
In this phase, you focus on polishing your writing by correcting errors in grammar, punctuation spelling, and mechanics. You also pay attention to sentence structure, word choice and overall style to enhance readability and flow.

6. Evaluating.
This step involves assessing your writing to determine how well it meets its intended purpose and audience. You may consider factors such as relevance, accuracy, completeness, and persuasiveness to gauge the effectiveness of your piece.

7. Post-Writing.
After completing all revisions, edits, and evaluations, you finalize your writing for submission, publication, or sharing. This could involve formatting your document, preparing it for printing or digital distribution, and considering any additional steps for dissemination.
