Theresa loved her special blue handkerchief with the pretty embroidered flowers. She always kept it on the pier when she went for a swim.

 One sunny morning, Theresa noticed her hanky was missing!

"My handkerchief! A thief must have taken it," Theresa exclaimed to her niece Lea.

The two wondered who the sneaky culprit could be. Then Theresa had an idea. "I bet it was that mischievous Frank playing another prank!" she said.

Frank likes to trick people and play pranks. He is the neighborhood's little prankster chief.

They went to Frank's house.  Michael her father was leaving. He had Theresa's handkerchief!

"Frank hid it under his shield as a trick," said father. "But I made him give it back."

Theresa was so happy to get her special handkerchief piece back. She told Frank not to be a bad thief again.
