  Raccoons  prefer to eat fruits, nuts, corn,fish,frogs,trash and almost anything else.

 They have highly developed claws Their claws are also  sensitive and contain thumbs .Raccoons also have well-developed senses of hearing and vision. Also they make dens and hollows . These  help them to protect themselves and get food .

Raccoon predators are cougars , bobcats,  coyotes, and big dogs .

          Appearance 

 Raccoons are 23 to 38 inches and 10 to 20 pounds and have fur. The colors of the fur are black, gray, and white. They have circles around their eyes that look like a mask.
