My animal is a coyote many people see coyotes roaming around but there might be some things you didn't know about them.Coyotes are just brown animals with black or gray fur they mostly eat rodents.

          habitat

 Coyotes live in California.The areas they live in are deserts,grasslands,woodlands, swamps,semitropical, and you can find them roaming around your neighborhood.The climate is tropical,dry,and wet.

               food

Coyotes mostly eat small rodents.They get their food by attacking larger prey from the front and going for the head and the throat.They chase their prey and their claws and teeth help them catch food.

              adaptations

Coyotes use their sharp teeth and claws to help them protect themselves.

              predators

Coyotes eat wolves,mountain lions,bears,alligators,and eagles.They protect themselves by fighting.They do it by scatting to mark the most heavily defended core areas.
