To the hands who can change the future of our Planet Earth.

The oceans cover 71% of the Earth's surface and are home to more than 1 million animal species.
Today we will meet a few of our ocean friends and learn some fun facts on the way!
Well, hi there! I'm Oscar the Oyster, and I've got a tale to tell about our coral reef home. Once upon a time, our coral reef was a vibrant and bustling place, filled with life and color. But, oh dear, things started to change.

You see, humans began to visit our reef, and some of their activities had unintended consequences. They started overfishing, taking too many fish from our waters. This disrupted the delicate balance of our ecosystem, making it harder for us to find food and causing some of our fishy friends to disappear.

The waters around us have gotten a bit warmer, and that's been tough on us.
Some of the corals have lost their glow, turning pale as if they're tired. But between those pale branches, you can still see flashes of color where some corals are holding on, showing off their vibrant hues like tiny underwater rainbows. Our fish friends are fewer, but the ones that are here dart around with purpose, their scales still glinting in the sunlight that filters down from above. And guess what? There are new creatures moving in, too. Plants and animals that like the warmer water have come to visit.

My heart, if oysters had hearts, was heavy with concern. You see, we oysters are more than just treasure chests with pearls. We are the reef's caretakers, its filters, its protectors. But there's something troubling the waters these days.
There has been a strange warmth that has been seeping into the sea, causing my friends, the corals, to become sick and lose their vibrant colors. "It's called coral bleaching," I explained, "and it happens when the water gets too warm, and the corals get too stressed."
I have many friends in the cove, each with their own story. There is Delilah Dolphin, who loves to leap through the waves, and Sammy Seahorse, who clung to the dancing seaweed. But life in Coral Cove was changing, and not for the better.
