The cell membrane regulates what enters and exits
the cell like a gate. It also protects and support whats
inside the cell.

The nucleus is like the city hall of a city
for it controls the city by sending out
information that the cell needs to function.

Ribosomes are like a lumber yard because they perform protein synthesis
for the nucleus. The proteins are machinery for cell functions which is
the same as plumbing and electricity which is needed in a city.

The smooth ER is like a manufacturing plant because
it makes proteins and fats. They are then packaged and
sent off throughout and outside the cell using the Rough ER.

The rough ER is like a highway for ribosomes. Ribosomes travel
through the Rough ER the same way cars travel around using the roads.
So that way goods are shipped just like a road system.

The golgi apparatus is like a post office because
it is where golgi bodies are sorted to go
where they are needed.

Lysosomes in an animal cell are like waste disposal
for they break down waste materials in the cell and
dispose of them by digesting it.

The mitochondria is like a power plant for it provides energy
to the cell parts and systems. A power plant does the same
thing for how it powers a city.

The nuclear membrane is like a city wall for it surrounds
the nucleus and has the ability to control entrance and exit
of substances. The membrane also protects the nucleus
from outside threats.
