-How long did your reign last-My reign lasted for around 21 years, from 51 BC to 30 BC. During this time, I faced many challenges and worked hard to protect the interests of Egypt.

-who were your parents-

My parents were King Ptolemy XII Auletes and Queen Cleopatra V Tryphaena. I was born into the Ptolemaic dynasty, a ruling family in Egypt at that time.

-When did you become pharaoh-

I became pharaoh of Egypt when I was just 18 years old in 51 BC after the death of my father. I was the first ruler in my family to learn the Egyptian language and embrace the Egyptian culture.

-Who was Cleopatra’s famous Roman friend-

My famous Roman friends were Julius Caesar and Marc Antony. Julius Caesar helped me regain the throne of Egypt, and Marc Antony became my lover and ally. Together, we tried to fight against Octavian, another Roman leader.
