Hi there. My name's Casey and I'm 13 years old. Last month was the craziest month of my life. Let me tell you about it.

My family moved to the suburbs from the city. My parents wanted a new start for the family. I only have one sibling, who's name is Bailey. She complained the whole way while we were moving and she was still complaining when we got to our new house. "I don't want to stay here! The city is much more interesting than here," said Bailey.

"Come on honey, you're going to love our new house. Its right over there," pointed my dad. Bailey turned around. Our new house looked like a mansion. "Great, now we get a house that will get me lost," said Bailey and then she stormed away.

Ms. Perfect Barbie Pink Doll is my older sister. Truth be told, I'm a little jealous of her. Her hair really looks like Barbie's while my own's brown. She aces every test at school and I'm struggling a little. I'm even embarrassed while asking her if she could help me with my homework. But enough talk about her.

We went inside the house. My sister acted like a critic and said, "The inside looks fine I guess, but I'd like to see the kitchen, bathroom, and my bedroom too." "Don't worry. You'll love your bedroom," said mom.

My sister left the room. "Casey, we have a gift for you. It's for being ok with moving," said dad. "Thanks, but you didn't really need to do that," I said. I decided to go and explore the house a little bit.

As I explored the house, I found my way to my bedroom. It was green, just the way I like it. My bed was already there while the room mostly felt empty. On one of the walls, there was a mirror with a pink ribbon on it. Ugh, I hate pink. That was the present my parents got for me. It was way too nice to be in my room.

As I got closer to the mirror and take off the ribbon, I thought that it was way, way, Way too nice to be in my bedroom. I had the thought of taking it off the wall straight away and giving to Bailey, but somehow, I forgot about that and decided to look at another room in the house.

As I walked through the hallways, I saw the door to my sister's new room. She never likes me in her room, but I was curious to know what she was doing. I sneaked a peek through the door and see that her room was much nicer than mine. Much nicer. I saw her looking at something. I wondered what it was.

Then when she was leaving her room, I stayed still as a statue as she walked right past me. I saw what she was looking at. It was a mirror and that mirror is exactly my style. It still had a pink ribbon. Of course it was still there, Bailey likes pink. I know I had to be grateful for what my parents got me, but that mirror was supposed to be in my room. There was obviously a mix up. Bailey likes mirrors as cool looking as my new one, so I had an idea.

At dinnertime, everyone had pizza. I waited until the time was perfect to tell Bailey the news. "Hey Bailey, there's a really nice mirror in my room. Wanna go and look at it?" I asked. Bailey got up from her seat and went upstairs straight away.

You see, my plan was for Bailey to get jealous of me for having a cool looking mirror and then she will demand mom and dad to let her have it. Of course they would say no, because they gave it to me in the first place. Thankfully, she's a drama queen and it will take a while for her to convince mom and dad with her whining. It was a simple and good plan, but it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to.

When she came back downstairs, she said, "You have a very nice looking mirror Casey. Its reflection is so sparkly, but not as sparkly as mine." I couldn't believe this. I thought she would be coming downstairs demanding for the mirror, but she hardly cared about it. She bragged about her mirror a little instead.

After dinner, I went to bed. It looked like I was stuck with the mirror. It's not that I didn't like it. I thought that someone weird like me doesn't deserve something like that. I didn't notice my mirror yet, but a face was in it that wasn't mine.

As soon as I finally noticed the mirror, I thought someone was behind me and I almost wanted to run. But the reflection wasn't there anymore. It was just me. I sighed, glad that I was being scared over nothing and decided just to go to bed.

The next day, me and Bailey were going to a new school. I wasn't really excited, but I managed to show excitement on my face. After breakfast, the school bus arrived and me and Bailey said goodbye to our parents as we headed out the door.

As I got on the bus, I saw that my sister already made some new friends. And she complained that this place wouldn't be great. That's the thing with my sister. She's all not sure about something and then the next thing you know, she's getting along with everyone leaving me in the shadows! I sighed and went to find a seat while my sister sits somewhere else.

I found a seat in the middle of the bus. I suddenly saw a boy chatting with one of his friends nearby. That made me get my smile back.

But then I saw 2 seats away was my sister. She was looking at the boy too! When she saw me, she gave me, "I'm watching you," look. This made me go back to my frown and it was even bigger than before.

During the next 10 to 15 minutes, the school bus finally arrived at school. I got up from my seat and tried not to get noticed by anyone. Guess who stopped my plan? Its Ms. Perfect Barbie Pink Doll herself.

"Hey, Casey," she said coming right up to me. "What is it Bailey?" I still smiled at her since she's my sister. "Mom and dad called. They signed me up for the Spring Beauty Pageant Contest, can you believe it?" she asked. "Wow, that's so cool!" I lied. Technically, my parents always get what Bailey wants. That's something they should do to the last person they gave birth to.

Bailey kept going on and on about the contest, but from the corner of my eye, I saw the boy coming towards me and her. I was about to make a move, but Bailey was one step ahead of me, since she must've seen him too.
