Catching a rainbow sounds like a magical adventure! Even though we can't hold a rainbow I in our hands, we can still enjoy its beauty in a fun way.
Rainbows happen when it's raining, but the sun is shining at the same time. The sunlight passes through the raindrops, and they act like tiny prisms that split the light into all the colors of the rainbow. So, the first step is to find a day when it’s both sunny and rainy.
To see a rainbow, stand with your back to the sun. Look up into the sky, towards the direction of the rain. Rainbows usually appear when the sun is low in the sky, either in the morning or late afternoon.
