The author... from now on Mr. Letters.
In a land full of zing where the trees were bright blue
There was a young girl named Sheewa it’s true.
What do you think about when you read the word "zing" ?

If its something like fireworks you are really close
something that has zing is full of energy and liveliness... like firewords
She was clever and kind, her smile big and bright.
What can you notice about Sheewa ?
.
And her favorite red hat glowed by day and by night.
Wait.... something seems off... is it a magical red hat that changes forms ? And what it means that it glows ?
.
One morning as Sheewa skipped Wibble Wobble Way.
But... Mr. letters.... what is a wibble wobble way ?
Oh little one it is a way that is really bumpy with a lot of turns and hills. Like the one you can see in the picture.
*Cough* I will continue the story now.
The wind blew so hard it whisked her hat away.
Like a kite Mr. Letters ?

Just like a kite little one... but without a string.
“Oh no!” Sheewa gasped, “Where was my red hat?
I was sure it was here—now where is it at?”
She searched high
She searched low
She looked near
She looked wide
Whoa Mr. Letters Sheewa travelled a lot.
That she did little one
Do you remember why she started her journey ? Can you write it there ?
.
Have you learned a lot of new words with this story little one ? Can you write them ?
Her hat was her treasure, it gave her such cheer.
Perhaps you also have treasures of your own little one. You can write about them here if you want.
But now it was lost, and she fought back a tear.
Oh no! little one Sheewa is sad... its time to help her back. Write something that could help her feel better.
Yet Sheewa was brave and wouldn’t give in,
“I’ll find my red hat, no matter how thin!”
Thank you for helping Sheewa little one. You are as brave as Sheewa is.
With each step she took, her courage grew strong,
She hummed her own tune as she strolled right along.
Oh so many new words... remember you can always ask for help little one.
Then deep in the bushes, she spotted a clue—
Bright red fabric with a shimmer of blue!
This is it little one get ready for the fight of your life!
Or perhaps not.
Her hat was with someone, a creature so sly,
With a mischievous grin and a gleam in his eye.
Find the strongest person you know little one... it could be dangerous.
“Hello, there!” said Sheewa, “I see my red hat.
It was mine from the start, could I please have it back?”
