Have you always wanted a dog? If so,
you are not alone. Dogs are one of the
most popular pets in the world! Owning
a dog can be difficult if you don't know
what to do. This book will give you all
the information that you need to give
you and your dog a healthy and happy
life together!

Chapter 1
You Got a Puppy! Now What?
Puppies are a lot of fun and there are some things
you need to do to keep them happy and healthy.
Playing with your puppy is very important. Puppies
love to run around and play catch with a ball, they
love to chew on lots of different things, and just love
to be loved and petted.
Finding a place for your puppy to sleep is important.
A puppy bed or special blanket is a good idea.
Designate a specific area for your puppy to sleep so
they can be trained to go to bed the same place every
night.

to school!!!

Chapter 2
Time For Training
Training your puppy is very important. You
don't want a puppy that doesn't listen. Then
you will end up with messes on the floor, a lost
puppy, and worse yet a naughty puppy.
You can take your puppy to a special school to
learn how to be obedient, or you can try it
yourself. Training a puppy can be difficult, you
need a lot of time, patience, and perseverance.
In the end you and your puppy will be very
happy when you have a well behaved dog.

Chapter 3
What's For Dinner
There are many differences between wet and dry
dog food. You will need to decide which one is the
best for your dog!
The benefit of dry dog food is it is easy to store. It
never needs refrigeration and comes in a bag or
box. It helps keep your dog's teeth clean and is
inexpensive.
Wet dog food needs refrigeration after opening and
comes only in a can. Most dogs love it and it
comes in a lot of different flavors. There are pros
and cons to either one of these. Research and see
if your dog can tolerate one of the two.
