The Lucy Johnson farm is located in Mufasa
city. The city has a small population of mostly
farming people and there is plenty of land to
grow their various crops. There is a large river
nearby for irrigation as well as drinking water.

The Lucy Johnson farm consists of 109 acres of
farmable land. We are the only commercial farm in
Mufasa City.
We choose commercial plantation farming because
our farm makes more money selling to MDC's than
if we chose subsistence farming.

As a commercial farm, we provide crops to
MDC's within Europe. We use many machines
to farm our land. Tractors help us to harvest
our crops more quickly and the cotton gin
helps us to extract seeds from the cotton, a
task that was once done by hand.

These machines are important to the farm
because they help us harvest the crops more
quickly in order to get them to the MDC's
faster.

At the Lucy Johnson Farm, we grow cotton,
sugarcane, and okra. These crops grow very
well in our fertile soil and the climate is warm
and sunny which promotes their growth.
The Lucy Johnson Farm is subsidized by the
countries we sell to in Europe. They grant us
the money to buy our machines, fertilizers,
and hire a labor force. In return, we sell our
crops to them at a reduced price.

money to
LDC's for machinery

In order to get our crops to Europe, we transport them
by ship. We grow crops that don't spoil quickly so we
can sail them to Europe. If we had to fly our crops, it
would be much more expensive to transport them.

Our target consumers are people who live in
Europe. We sell our crops to them because they do
not have the same resources that we do in Sub-
land Africa. Our soil is fertile and our climate
permits us to grow lots of different crops. We grow
the food that they cannot and they want the food
they cannot grow.
