My name is Uranium and I was discovered back in 1789 by 

a scientist named Martin Heinrich Klaproth. Even though 

this scientist found me he had only found an oxide of myself.

Some years later in 1841 a different scientist named 

Eugene M. Peligot isolated me.

About 50 years later after the isolation of myself 

another scientist named Antoine H. Becquerel found out 

that I was...RADIOACTIVE

So now that you know how I was discovered, how 

about I tell you some facts about myself. First of all I 

am atomic number 92 on the Periodic Table and my 

atomic mass is about 238.029. I am also a solid element 

and a metal.
