       My 15th birthday was a blast! My parents were 

away for vacation, and I threw a huge party. The 

party was in my house, you could barely move 

without hitting somebody. One of the members of 

the party took out a roll of cash for snorting Heroin. 

I tried to stop them but the temptations were to 

great and I tried some. I got this rush of relaxation. 

      After the high, I felt a craving that was 

almost irresistible. Whatever I needed to do to 

get that feeling back, I did. I think I stole from 

my parents, and they asked me to move out. I 

was so enraged but I still didn't have what I 

was looking for. I meet a dealer on the corner 

of 5th and 6th avenue and got the H, for 10-20 

dollars. 

I am 24 now and have joined a addiction 

center to try and stop what I have started. My 

family has lost touch with me until I joined the 

facility. I am currently doing this program to 

impress my family and little friends that I am 

strong. The final day of the program came, 

and I went back to my old ways of drugs after 

I had made more money at the age of 30. I 

was divorced 2 times and back on drugs. My 

family has not called in a while and has 

blocked my connections with them. 

On me 18th birthday, I was dating this girl 

from a cafe. I still have not told her I am 

addicted to Heroin yet. Heroin has taken over 

my life, and I don't have much money for an 

apartment or Heroin. I have been scavenging 

for money for weeks, and without a collage 

degree, I can't get high paying jobs, so I have 

settled as a garage truck driver. 

Since I graduated High School I have not been 

going to school, and cannot make any colleges 

look into me because of my addiction. Nor do I 

have enough money to attend, my family will 

not help in anyway for college. My current job 

as a trucker is not paying me a lot. I can't get 

a good job either because of my lack in 

education.
