Cocaine is one of the most common stimulant drugs and is very addictive once taken. It is formed into two different ways that are quite different from each other. The first form is powder cocaine which looks like what is in the name, powder. Drug dealers on the streets usually mix powder cocaine with more substances and it can eventually become deadly. Crack cocaine is another form of cocaine that is hardened, and it is smoked by people. Rather than being snorted through the nose like powder cocaine.

What are the different ways it can be used & the effects?

It ultimately used to receive some type of high or to escape from reality for a brief moment. There are many of ways to get this product into the system. Snorting, injecting it, rubbing it onto the gums of your mouth and smoking out of glass pipes are mainly the ways to use this drug.

Some normal affects from taking this drug would be paranoia, irritability, not being able to sleep, restlessness, extreme happiness, higher body temperature and more

Amphetamines is another very known stimulant drug that is also very addictive. Unlike cocaine this drug has a purpose. It can speed up the cognitive messages that are transferred between the brain and body.

This drug usually is prescribed by doctors for conditions such as ADHD, narcolepsy and even Parkinson’s disease. But people usually buy this drug off the streets in forms of crystal methamphetamine. It can be in the form of powder, tablets, crystals and capsules. Often times it is the color white or brown or even In between the two.

What are the ways it is used & the effects?

This specific drug can also be injected with needles or smoked regularly through a glass pipe. Also, can be swallowed if in pill form and also snorted if the capsules are crushed.

Most of the effects of using this drug are very similar to any other drug. These affects include dental issues, depression and anxiety, dependent on amphetamines, regular colds, restless sleep and more.

What is ecstasy?

Ecstasy, which is considered a party drug, is another stimulant drug that is taken by people to enhance and promote certain experiences such as being close with others, empathy to one another and sexuality aspects as well. Not only is MDMA containing ecstasy but it also contains other drugs such as methamphetamine, cocaine and even caffeine. Majority of the time, this drug is given in pill form and they come in many different sizes, colors and shapes. Although it is normally in pill form it can also be exposed as capsules, powder and liquid as well.

This drug is known to only be taken orally as you would take any other pill. There are often times when the pill is crushed and snorted and maybe even smoked but it does not happen that many times. Some users take three or more pills at once or they take many over a short period of time. It is most commonly mixed with alcohol and marijuana

Barbiturates is a depressant drug that is used for relaxation and sleepiness and normally occurs strongest when taking more than recommended on accident or sometimes on purpose. These drugs are used mainly for seizures or pain syndromes but can be very addictive once taking them.

What are the ways it is used & the effects?

Barbiturates are taken orally and they are prescribed to people or their family members as medicine by physicians and then it is taken as a drug because it is being used over and over many times so it becomes addictive. Many overdoses come from this drug because people try to mix it with other drugs that it should not be mixed along. Other Drugs such as heroin, fentanyl and more are mixed with this drug and can lead to comas and even death.

What is alcohol?

Alcohol is a liquid substance that has a certain amount of alcohol level that could impair a person’s body and mind once having too much intake of this substance.

What are the ways it is used & the effects?

This type of drug can be used orally only, and it can be mixed with other things such as juice or any other type of alcohol that can actually be mixed together properly.

If drank too much too fast or too often it can intoxicate the person beyond repairable for the moment. Drinking more can rise the blood alcohol content (BAC) levels and consider someone dangerous if considering driving or operate any type of machinery that same day. Some effects involve mood swings, passing out, skin flushing, trouble concentrating and even vomiting. Often times the liver is mostly affected but the brain and heart are also organs to be affected as well. Often times when people have alcohol problems, they suffer from a lot of side effects such as liver disease, cancer, ulcers and more.

What is heroin?

Heroin is considered a depressant but also considered an opioid as well. Often times it causes a sense of a rush that warms the skin. People who takes this drug usually goes off on a “nod” which is a person being very under the influence and is in a wake and drowsy state of mind. This drug starts off as a white or brown powder substance and then turns into a black tar like substance.

Majority of the time heroin is used by shooting the substance into the veins and muscles of the body. Although it comes in the form of powder once it is heated it becomes liquid and then it is used to put into needles to be shot into the body. Also can be put on foil and inhaled as well. Since the veins and muscles are used so much, too much use can have collapsed veins in the body. Other effects of heroin is also constipation, intestinal cramping, even sickness like pneumonia and just overall poor health.

What is fentanyl?

This drug doesn’t have any other names than the one name fentanyl.

Fentanyl is a narcotic pain medication that comes from physicians that prescribe this medicine to patients that are experiencing severe pain usually after surgery. It’s a very common opioid that acts just like morphine and heroin just in a capsule or pill form. Although it is much stronger than morphine.

Fentanyl is mainly taken orally though the mouth because it is a pill. There are many effects just like any other drug and they’re very similar as well. Effects such as drowsiness, euphoria swelling at the hands, feet and ankles, headaches, shortness of breath and of course more. Being addicted to this drug and even overdosing on it is also can be considered as effects of fentanyl.

What is oxycodone?

This drug does not have any nicknames or other names besides oxycodone and oxy

Oxycodone is another opioid that comes in capsule and tablet form and just like fentanyl, it is meant to relieve pain. Sometimes thought of as a higher dose of over the counter medications such as Tylenol and more. This drug reacts on the central nervous system to help relieve very extreme pain and it can be a very addictive drug

A lot of the effects from taking this prescription medication can lead to the results being fatal. Some people have allergic reactions to this type of medication such as hives, swelling of body parts, slowed breathing, weak heart rate, seizures or just unusual behavior. If taken too much can affect fertility in both genders. If taken while malnourished, could experience nausea and even vomiting.

What is the definition of Hallucinogens?

the group of drugs that involve altering or changing the thoughts, feelings and even many perceptions of many things. It even causes many hallucinations or images in the head of many people.

What is LSD?

LSD has other nicknames such as acid, tabs, dots and much more

LSD, which is an acronym for lysergic acid diethylamide, is a type of psychedelic drug that impairs the mind and vision. If someone takes a small amount of LSD it can change the mood and thought of a person. If someone takes a bigger amount of LSD it can allow people to see hallucinations and many other things. This drug comes in different forms as well such as a crystal substance, liquid, a tablet and even a capsule. Most times it is sold on the streets as a thin piece of paper like substance.

What are the ways it is used & the effects?

As for the other forms such as liquid and capsules those are used in ways that you would think they are. In often times this drug is made into flat tablet forms and it is placed under the tongue and it just dissolves. Other than the tablet form it comes in capsules as well that can be crushed and sniffed.

These aren’t the only ways to get this drug in your system, it can also be injected and smoked but it isn’t as often. Psilocybin has many other types of names that it is known by. Names such as shrooms, cubes, purple passion, boomers and much more. This is another type of hallucinogen that mainly affects the serotonin in the body. Serotonin mainly is in charge of the mood, cognitive and perception inside the brain.

What are the ways it is used & the effects?

This specific drug normally is used to treat depression and is given to people from physicians. Although it is medically prescribed, it also is used out of context when it does not need to be, and it is overly unused. When abused, this drug cannot become addictive, but it can be as detrimental to the body as any other drug. This drug has effects of flashbacks, and often times people experience visual hallucinogens that can affect a person from weeks up to years at most. Some effects also include dizziness, drowsiness, muscle weakness, nausea, euphoria, vomiting, tiredness, paranoia and much more.

What is peyote?

This drug is another type of hallucinogen that does not get used as often as other common drugs. It comes from a plant that has a disc shaped button which is where the nickname button comes from.

This drug does not necessarily have any reasoning such as being prescribed or just medicine but there are different ways for it to be used. This can be used by chewing the buttons that are on the plant, also making the plant into powder and putting them into capsules that can therefore be swallowed or even mixed with marijuana that can be smoked as well. Some of the effects associated with this drug could be nausea, vomiting, anxiety, hallucinations and even a rise in body temperature.
