“Grace get down here now!” Mr.Crick yelled.
Oh no I had slept in. I ran down the stairs and
when I got there Mr. and Mrs. Crick were smiling at
me.” Mr.Crick said.
“Grace we are now allowing you to go run Aron's
me and Mary have decided you should get out of
the house and get some fresh air. But there are a
few rules you can not talk to anyone and you can
only go to places we say” Mr.Crick said.

Finally a trip out of the house I don’t think I have been out of the house
since I was 9. I then started off with my normal chores Washing the The
dresses and suits for Mr. and Mrs. Crick.
Then it came time to go.”Now we need you to go get food and get me a
newspaper.”Mr. Crick said.
“What paper sir?”I asked him. He told me the guy in the paper stand
would give me the right kind.
So I ran down to the market got everything he wanted .Then it was time
for the newspaper. Now when I was younger, Mrs. Crick taught me to
read she said it was a good thing to learn in life.

When I went to go get the paper I read it on my way
back .It talked about the soldiers a few courts and
some other things that really interested me.
“I am back with the food and the paper” I said as I
entered the door. So I unpacked the bags and started
making dinner.I made beef stew and a apple pie. I
listened to the stew waking up and coming to life. But
like usual I got what ever was not eaten which was half
a cup of stew and a slice of pie while I ate I felt the
warm stew against the roof of my mouth .Now I am
use to this I guess I get better treatment than other
maids or slaves how ever you want to call it. They all
feel the same.

So I went upstairs went to bed and read 1,000 more
newspapers thinking about all the cool things I had read
and how I needed to find more ways to read more things
like that I remember the things I read in the paper how
people were mad at the soldiers for invading on us ,
about John adams and a bunch of other politicians.

I did not know what a politician was so I got up walked
over to the bookshelf got out the dictionary searched up
politician.Which is apparently something to do with
government so I walked back to bed and read all
through the night till I fell asleep dreaming of all the
things I read and listening to the sound of soldiers
patrolling and the wind in the trees. I am the smartest
girl in the world.

It was my day off so asked Mr. Crick if I could
go to town he said only to walk around you are not to
read or talk to anyone. Now usually I would listen but I
was so intrigued to continue reading the papers but
when I was heading back from walking around I was
reading the paper and I bumped into John Adams I had
read about him in the papers he was a politician what
ever that is but he did not just keep on walking he
completely turned and he asked me “what are you doing
reading in the streets? Someones going to run you over
go to a library!”but it was already getting late so I
decided to hand him the paper as a gift then I ran home.
When I got there it was already six o’clock .
