there was a young boy looking for a new 

classroom where he could learn everything he 

needed for the 4th grade.   There were tales all 

across the land, about this amazing school 

named Haslet.   Little Eagle set off on a quest to 

find this great school.

His quest took him all across the 

land.   He climbed the highest 

mountains and swam the great seas to 

find this school, he had heard so much 

about.   At last he stumbled across a 

railroad track, and there sitting atop a 

hill was the school of his dreams.  

He rushed forward and yanked on the 

doors, but they wouldn't open.  

Frustrated, he looked around and 

wondered why no one was at this 

school if it was so great and 

wonderful.   Just then a thought 

occurred to him.   Of course, there 

was no one around because it was 

midnight.   The perfect school would 

have students at home asleep at 

midnight.   Knowing he could do nothing 

until morning, he curled up on a bench 

by the door and took a nap. 

The next morning he awoke with a start at the 

sound of happy voices chirping, "Good 

morning," to each other.   Already this was 

seeming like an inviting place and he wanted to 

see more.   The boy rushed into the school 

following the other boys and girls.

     Once he was inside he was surrounded by 

many classrooms.   He had found the perfect 

school, but now his quest was changing to 

finding the perfect classroom.  

       The first classroom he wandered                       

into taught him lots about animals and how              

the seasons changed and where the planets 

were located.   While he found this all really 

interesting, it just didn't seem to be the right 

fit for him.
