"Joey the artist"

one day in the outback of australia there was a young
kangaroo named Joey. While all the other animals
liked to run and play he like to sit and draw. Since he
did this for hours and hours he quickly became the
best in the forest.

Even so all of the animals make fun
of him for not running and playing.
They didn't care Joey was the best
artist in the forest and probably the
entire outback.

The elders wanted the
              young animals to
               be fast and strong but Joey just wasn't.
                 when he tried to explain to them about his
                artistic skills, but they just ignored him.

The next day the eagles brought news that the king
of the outback was coming to inspect their forest
and to choose one representative. To be a
representative of the king was a great honor and
privilege to the animals.

Joey wouldn't have trained even if the other animals had let him
everyone thought it would be the strongest or fastest and not someone like Joey.

Very early the next morning before the king arrived the
animals brought Joey to a cave and made him stay there so he
wouldn't embarrass the forest and all its animals. Joey didn't mind
very much because that way he didn't have to be nervous about
meeting the king.

Immediately the king set to work choosing the representative
but even after all of the animals had been presented he couldn't find someone he liked.
even after all the training and preparation the best the forest had to offer wasn't good
enough.
