The Skeletal 

System is the bones 

inside your body that 

keep us together! 

Without a skeleton 

we wouldn't be able 

to survive! Bones 

and muscles work 

together to help our 

body move. 

Next, the Muscular System, 

which allows us to walk, 

breathe, and makes us 

strong! Muscles in your body 

contract and relax in order to 

give us movement. When 

your muscle grows you get 

stronger. 

Your Respiratory System 

helps you breathe. It collects 

oxygen and sends out 

carbon dioxide (which we 

don't need). Then it sends 

oxygen throughout the body, 

which we need to survive! 

Skelly is hungry from all 

of this learning! Next, 

the Digestive System 

is a system that 

processes all the food 

you eat! It turns the 

food into energy for 

your body to survive. 

After your body takes 

all of the energy from 

the food it is turned into 

waste, which your body 

removes! 

Running to the beach after eating was a bad 

idea! Skelly has a stomach ache and the 

exercise is making his heart beat fast! The 

Cardiovascular System pumps blood and 

oxygen throughout our body so we can recover 

after working out or any movement. Our heart 

pumps the blood to make our body then get 

oxygen and messages. 

Skelly has learned so much his brain hurts! 

The Nervous System is controlled by your 

brain! This system is how you feel pain, makes 

your body do things, by sending signals to 

your brain. These signals include eyesight, 

smelling, feeling, and hearing.
