Once Upon A Time, in a far way cell,
there was a king.
King Nucleus.
You must think that the king knows
everyone that lives in his cell. He
doesn't. He usually just sits in his big
fancy throne, drinking fancy juice and
eating fancy crackers.
King Nucleus called the prior to his side.
"ER, I need you to show me what all of my cell
does. Starting with you?'
The Rough ER looked at the King very excited and
said, "Well, King Nucleus, you give very one in
the cell commands. What I do is help produce
proteins with ribosomes and after that move them
throughout the cell. Now we have to hurry to visit
all the others."
Next, ER took King Nucleus to Mitochondria.
"Hello, fellow organelle!" said ER, "King Nucleus
wanted to know what do you do in this big his cell of
his?"
Mitochondria giggled, "Oh your majesty, I'm the
power house of the cell. I make you have the energy
you need to rule the cell."
King Nucleus stared in aw! They grabbed mito and
started off on the journey once again.
Next, ER and Mitochondria, took the king to see lysosome.
King Nucleus was so amazed of Rough ER and
Mitochondria and how they are a huge help to his cell.
He hasn't even met everyone yet.
"Your majesty, how can I serve you?" said the lysosome.
"I would like for you to tell me how you help my cell," King
Nucleus proclaimed.
"Well, King Nucleus, I help get excess organelles and throw
them out of the cell. I also help by breaking down whenever
the cell dies. "
King Nucleus smiled with glee while lysosome was trying so
hard to catch up.
On the way, to the Cell Membrane, King Nucleus, Mitochondria,
Rough ER, and Lysosomes, ran into microtubules.
"Hello, friends of mine and your Majesty. You're looking quite
happy. What's the deal?"
"Well, microtubule, I've been going around the cell trying to figure
out what every organelle does. I've been amazed of how everyone
works in my cell. I never how much was going on until I got off my
throne."
"Your majesty, I'm going to make this short and simple. I'm the
organelle that gives out the information to the entire cell,"
microtubule smiled.
King Nucleus gave out a big chuckle as they take off running to meet
the Cell Membrane.
