Biomedical engineers, or bioengineering, is
the application of engineering principles to the fields of
biology and health care. Biomedical engineers worked
with docters , therapists, and researchers to develop
systems, equipment, and devices in order to solve
clinical problems.
They do cool things like working in labs and
dealing with medicine (OMG
!!!! so COOL !!). In this book,
you'll learn some amazing facts
/information about biomedical
engineers.

Biomedical engineers have a lot stuff to do
to keep them busy.They analyze and design
solutions problems in biology and medicine, with
the goal of improving the quality
and effectiveness of patient care.
Also, they study how to improve
biological function through
engineering.An artificial heart and
a magnetic resonance imaging
machine are examples of biomedical engineering
achievements. The career requires completion of an
engineering degree and extensive coursework in
biology.



Biomedical engineers worked in offices,
laboratories, workshops, manufacturing plants,
clinics and hospitals. Some local travel may be
required if medical equipment is located in various
clinics or hospitals. Most biomedical engineers work
standard weekdays hours.
In their job, they worked with others to
determined specific needs. They work in team with
scientists, healthcare workers, or other engineers.
For example, a biomedical engineer who has
developed a new device designed to help a person
with a disability to walk again might have to spend
hours in a hospital to determine whether the device


the device works as planned. If the engineer finds
a way to improve the device, the engineer might
have to the manufacturer to help alter the
manufacturing process to improve the design.
Salary is another word for wages. The
median annual wage for biomedical engineers was
$86,960. The median wage is the wage at which
half the workers in an occupation earned more
than that amount or less.The lowest 10% earned
less than $52,600, and the top 10% earned more
than $139,450.


To be a biomedical engineer, it contains a
lot of responsibilities.They have to make sure
every medical systems is checked, fixing functional
machines is required, and test computer
simulations that software can run through medical
equipment.
They have the most
important jobs because docter uses
the inventions that they create when
operating.Making sure people's
health is OK is important too!


Employment of biomedical engineers is
projected to grow 27% from 2012 to 2022, much
faster than the average for all occupations.



Biomedical engineer typically need
bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from an
accredited program to enter the occupation.
Biomedical engineering students should take high
school science courses such as chemistry, physics,
and biology. They should also take math courses,
including calculus.Courses in drafting or mechanical
drawing and computer programming is also useful.
Bachelor's degree programs in biomedical
engineering focus on engineering and biological
sciences.Program include laboratory-based courses
in addition to classroom-based courses in subject
such as fluid and solid mechanics, computer
