Story: Once upon a time Tyler the polar bear was hanging 

out with his community. A community is a group of living 

things that are NOT the same species. He was wondering 

what he should do for the day when he thought of the 

idea to explore more of the tundra. A tundra is a cold, 

treeless, flat, and large area that sometimes has snow. So 

off Tyler went to explore more of the tundra.

Tyler had discovered a population of grizzly bears. A 

population is a group of animals that ARE the same 

species. Tyler soon recognized that this was an alpine 

tundra. An alpine tundra is the same thing as a usual 

tundra without snow. After Tyler met the family, he 

soon went off to explore some more.
