Some people would often create scrapbook of plants. The books are not the kind you would see now. But they were made by smashing them into the book making the outline of the plant. In order to do this the person would have to be able to afford the book so this is probably common for middle and upper classes.

Coffee Houses were often popular for the upper class men. They used them to discuss current social issues. The middle class were big advocates for leisure. Golf, cricket, rugby and tennis were some of the big fads. People of the lower class spent most of their time working rather than relaxing.

The Victorian era was a deeply religious time. A great number of people were habitual church-goers. The Bible and religious stories were widely read by people of every class. Eventually the Victorians incorporated religion into popular entertainment.

In modern England, there are a lot of leisure activities that are still around from the Victorian Era. Most sports like rugby, cricket and tennis are still around. Cricket is the national sport of England. There have been some changes like scrap booking is has actual pictures.
