"I'll pick Elizabeth up from the railway station in my new Cord motor-car," exclaimed Charles proudly.

"I'd best check the water
and oil before I go,"
said Charles.

"I'll take some lavender - Elizabeth loves lavender," said Charles thoughtfully.
"Righty-o, off I go!"

Charles arrives at the
railway station and waits
for Elizabeth to arrive.

Elizabeth's train now,"
said a hopeful Charles.

"Oh dear me," said Charles.
"It's just a goods train."

Elizabeth alights from the carriage, delighted.
"Charlie!" cries Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth!" cries Charles.
Elizabeth runs to Charles and kisses him.

"I've missed you too!"
said Elizabeth.
"I come bearing lavender,"
said Charles.
