One day there was a very nice tiger. The tiger did not have many friends. He always tried to make friends, but no one wanted to be his friend.

The next day, the tiger went out to make a friend. He saw a friendly wolf.
"Can I be your friend?" the tiger asked. "Sorry, you don't know how to howl like me," the wolf said.

The tiger went up to a hippo. "Can I be your friend?" the tiger asked. "Sorry, you don't know how to play in the mud like me," the hippo said

The tiger went up to a snake. "Can I be your friend?" the tiger asked. "Sorry, you don't know how to slither like us," the snakes said.

The tiger went up to a porcupine. "Can I be your friend?" the tiger asked. "Sorry, you don't have spikes like me," the porcupine said.
