The President has established the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 that helps conserve the land and water. It has designated more than 2 million acres of federal wilderness, thousands of miles of trails, and protected more than 1,000 miles of rivers. Also, outdoor recreation supports 6.1 million jobs across the nation and visits to public land and waters added more than $50 billion to the economy.

I support the President's decisions. It is important to protect the environment and do all that we can to preserve it. Obama is not only protecting the land through his decisions, but he is also helping the economy

The President is making necessary changes to help save the air, land, and water. His ideas are successful because they not only help the environment, but they also help the economy. His ideas use the most efficient and resourceful ways to help make a difference that will last for generations. With his plans, however, it is still important to have a spending cap on certain areas.
