We have to remember that when the dinosaurs lived on the Earth it looked a lot different. It even felt a lot different. Dinosaurs lived on every continent, including Antartica. When we think of Antartica, we think of a frigid place, but when the dinosaurs lived there, it was a lot warmer. The dinosaurs lived in many different types of environments including: the riverside, swamps, forest, deserts, and the evergreens.

Dinosaurs had two main types of diets. These diets included plants and meat.

If a dinosaurs' diet was plant-based then they are called a herbivore. This is similar to a term that we have nowadays, called a vegetarian. An example of a herbivore is a brachiosaurus.
