When I was a child I was taught that in order to be a good person, one had to do Mitzvahs (good deeds) that affect other people.

2
After achieving success as a champion handball player, I had a great desire to "give back" to a game that had treated me so well.
3
Reaching out to kids from different walks of life (mostly Hispanic backgrounds) was an easy thing to do. I had the talent and communication skills that were necessary to have a positive influence on the lives of these children. Some became champions in their own right. All were introduced to a game that will provide physical, mental, and emotional benefits for as long as they continue to play.
