To Tahirah: I'm really thankful that I got to be your mentor for these past ten weeks. I'm also glad that I got to know how sweet, bubbly, and fun you are. You are going to be so successful in the future, and you'll have all the happiness you've ever wanted and deserve when you grow up. Keep working hard, and never doubt how awesome you are.

Once upon a time in a faraway land called Rice-envale, lived a gorgeous princess. She had braided hair, a golden crown, a red dress, and a bright smile. Her name was Tahirah. Everyone who lived in Rice-envale was happy because Tahirah ran the land with fairness. She made sure every family had food to eat, every child had access to school to learn, and every adult had work to earn money.

Rice-envale was a magic land which depended on a magic red ball. Whatever happened to the ball would happen to the land.

3
One morning, Tahirah brought the magic red ball outside to give it sun so Rice-envale would be warm. She threw it up in the air so that it would be closer to the sun and get more warmth. The ball flew up in the air as she threw it, and landed back in her arms as she caught it. She threw it up a second time even higher, and caught it again. The third time she threw it up in the air...

4
a witch on her broom stick flew right over Tahirah, and caught the ball before it could land back into Tahirah’s arms!
“I know this ball can control the land . I’m going to throw it in the ocean so Rice-envale drowns!” the witch laughed.

5
All of a sudden, the witch's broom dropped to the ground, and the witch fell with it. “Oh no! My broom ran out of gas. But that doesn’t matter, I’m going to run to the ocean to drop it in!” the witch ran towards the forest.

6
Right when Tahirah was about to catch up to the witch, the witch tripped over a branch, fell to the ground, and the magic red ball flew out of her hands! It landed right in front of a...

I keep falling!

7
Giant! Angry! Troll! The troll picked up the magic red ball. "I'm going to throw this ball into a pit of spiders so Rice-envale will be covered in spiders!" the troll laughed.

8
"Oh no! I'm afraid of spiders!" the witch cried out.
"Mr. Troll, please don't do that. Some people in Rice-envale don't like spiders," Tahirah explained, concerned for the witch.

9
The troll, ignoring the witch's fears and Tahirah's request, walked over to a spider pit to throw it in. All of a sudden, he tripped over a frog and fell to the ground. The ball flew out of his hands and landed in front of a tree.

10
Out from behind the tree came a fluffy, but angry wolf! "Who dares disturb my sleep?" he asked. He looked down to the ground and saw the magic red ball in front of him. "I'm going to bake this ball into a cupcake so that all of Rice-envale can be covered in frosting and deliciousness!" he exclaimed as he picked up the ball.
