Grandpa Energy is really important to reality town
but during the day his feelings can go up and down
Grandpa Energy was the first of the Matter family,
He likes to make people feel warm inside and go around happily.

Sometimes he's kinetic, sometimes he's potential,
Other times he's chemical, other times he's thermal
When he's potential he's excited in a certain space like a pulled bowstring.
When he's kinetic he's moving around a lot like a fast roller-coaster going down.
When he's chemical he's changing things, like the nutrients from food that meals like to bring.
When he's thermal he's hot or cold because of temperature, like warm metal in a hot town.

Grandpa Energy has one rule, he cannot make or break his things,
he can only change the objects he brings.
So he is there to make the ball fly after the bat swings.
Grandpa energy is also able to move energy through different items.
He can conduct, where he moves heat through solids like hot pots,
convect, where he moves heat through gases or liquids like rising steam,
or radiate, where he moves heat through empty space, like warm sunlight spots.

Heat Transfer is good because it can help make people warm and give them food,
but it can also be bad because it can hurt them like sunburns or really cold water.
These absorptions or releases of heat are caused by the Thermic Brothers, sons of Grandpa's daughter.
Brother Endothermic absorbs heat while brother Exothermic releases heat with attitude.
Endothermic absorbs because Endo- means inside,
and exothermic releases because Exo- means outside.
