Looking at the cave wall, they only see their shadows, like a screen marionette players show their puppets.

they released one prisoner from the cave,only to see the world he thought he knew was wrong.

At first he will suffer sharp pains the glare will distress him.

He is unable to see the real world from his former state,all he sees is shadows; he conceives that someone is telling him that what he saw was an illusion.

Now that he is used to the outside light he is compelled to look at the sun, as he looks it doesn't burn.

He looks away and looks at the world around him only to see that it is more clear and that he is able to see more detail and not just the shadows of the nature.

he was growing accumosted to the upper world he saw the shawdows the best. he saw reflections of the men and objects of the water.

he will gaze up at the light of the moon and see the stars of the spangled heaven.
