Gophers are mammals. Gophers are vegetarians. They eat roots, tubers, and the occasional aboveground plant Gophers are medium-sized rodents that range in length from 5 to 14 inches.

Prairie Dogs are mammals. Prairie Dogs feed on plants, though they eat some insects. They weigh 1 1/2 to 3 lbs. The head and body are 11 to 13 inches long, with a tail length of 3 to 4 inches.

Coyotes are mammals.Coyotes mostly feed on meat, but will also eat insects, fruits, berries, and prickly pear cactus. They are 32 to 37 inches from head to their lower back. Their tail adds another 16 inches to their length. Coyotes typically weigh about 20 to 50 lbs.
