There once was a pug that loved to run, his name was Charlie, Charlie would run so fast he moved like the wind.

One day Charlie was running in the backyard and someone had left the gate open. Oh No!

Charlie got out and ran so fast he didn't even know where he was going.

It started to rain and Charlie started to get scared and he wanted to go back home, but when he wanted to he couldn't.

He forgot which way was home, he didn't even know where he was.

Charlie’s owner went to go get Charlie from the backyard but Charlie was nowhere to be found, Charlie’s owner saw that the gate was open and knew Charlie had got out. This made Charlie’s owner very upset. So he ran outside in the rain to go look for Charlie.

A couple hours had past and Charlie was still lost and now wet, Charlie wandered and wandered until Charlie found some nice people who took Charlie in from out of the rain.

They fed Charlie and warmed him up and Charlie was very thankful, but he missed his owner and was very sad and he’d wish he hadn't ran away.
