It is said that the Navajo's origin is from
Canada but they say they were put on the
land where they are now by sacred
beings.Also they say the Navajo's crossed
the land bridge from asia and came to
north America.So they like to praise the
four mountains surrounding their
land.There religion is having rituals to
praise sacred beings and a small
percentage of Navajo indian's converted
to Christianity.The Navajo's reservation
our in four states such as New mexico
Arizona,Colorado, and Utah.

The Navajos culture is passed on to generation to
generation like weaving, basket-making, pottery making,
and jewelry making, and hunting. Their religion is praising
sacred beings but, some tribe members converted to
Christianity during the revolt against the Spanish. For
children they still do the daily chores of example like
herding animals. But, children still go to school but, do to
long miles away from the school, some children are sent to
boarding school.Then for the for the boys the learn how to
survive on the land and, how to make tools from the
resources around them. Also,from the Pueblo the Navajo's
learned the art of weaving and, are now famous for their
blankets and rugs.They live in Tepees and roundhouses that
were built from the scarce pieces of wood and also built
hogans.

Navajo clothing for both men and women initially was
deerskin for shirts and skirts. The men later wore
cotton or velvet shirts with no collars, breeches below
the knee, and moccasins. Women gradually wore the
"squaw dress," made of plain dark blankets.Primitively
the men dressed in deerskin shirts, hip-leggings,
moccasins, and native blankets.
