HI! My name is Sandy, and I am in a wheelchair. I am not able to walk, so I am going to show you all the fun things I can still do!
2
My mommy and daddy told me I can go anywhere I want in my chair, just like my friends who can walk! We live in a small town and not a lot of people are in wheelchairs. So some people do stare, but it is okay, they are just curious.
3
I can push myself where I want to go, even on a trail where I can see the beautiful mountains by my house. There is not much around, my mommy calls it the country. So I like to see flowers and smell them too!
4
I even have great friends who look just like me! And that me feel great. My mommy and daddy also love to see me play with my friends, it makes them happy too!

5
I even have friends at school who I can play with and they do not sit in a wheel chair! We have so much fun no matter what we look like. My friends even help me around school when I need help. The teacher gives me a little bit more time to get into the classroom too, she is awesome!

6
Outside of school, we go to a place where all kids, different shapes, sizes, color, cultures, and needs can love one another. It helps me feel great and it helps my mommy and other mommy's work together and care for each other. Mommy said it is a Support Group.
