Hi Mom where does our food go when we eat ?
Well girls it goes through your digestive system.
What is that ?

It all starts when you put something into your mouth. The Digestive system is already starting. When you chew it break down and your saliva is beginning.

Next you swallow all the food. The food goes through your esophagus. Esophagus connects your throat to your stomach. The peristalsis moves the food all the way down to your stomach.

When the food reaches your stomach it is blended with gastric acid. Now the food is moved to your small intestine. This is where enzymes from live and pancreas are pass to separate out the nutrients in your food.
