What does a Zoologist do ?

Zoologist's are people who study animals and wildlife. Some help take care of animals in a zoo, and some study animals in there natural habitat.

Steve Irwin (the crocodile hunter) was a famous Zoologist before he passed away in 2006. He traveled the world studying animals in their natural habitat.

What type of Zoologist can you be?

You can be many different types of zoologists. One type you can study birds. Then you will be called an ornothologist.

The second type you can study amphibians, such as frogs, salamanders, and toads. With this you will be called a herpetologist.

A third type is a mammalogist, which is where you study mammals, or animals with fur.

Money you make and where you would

work at ?

How much money does a Zoologist make?

If you are a zoologist, you will make around $27.70 per hour. They usually work 30 to 40 hours per week, which means you could make around $900 per week.

If you are a zoologist, then you can make $101,10 and 50 cents every year!
