Mitochondria- the powerhouse of the cell

Golgi Body-transports lipids throughout

the cell and helps lysosomes process out waste

Cytoplasm- the jelly-like

substance in cells that helps carry genetic

material in cellular respiration.

Lysosome- Removes waste from the cell.

Ribosome- creates protein and repairs the cell.

Endoplasmic Reticulum- transports and folds the protein.

Cytoskeleton- frames the cell

Centriole- aids in cell division

Nucleus- Control Center of

the cell and contains DNA.

Like a fence, the cell membrane protects the family or the organelles inside the cell.

Nucleus= Dad

Like the nucleus of the cell my dad makes the big decisions in the house.

Like the mitochondria of a cell, the breaker box gives off energy to power the house.

Like the cytoplasm of a cell, the air acts as a filler for the house.

Endoplasmic Reticulum= Hallways

Just like the hallways in my house, the endoplasmic reticulum serves as passageways throughout the cell.

Ribosome= Mom

Like the ribosome, my mom literally makes protein when she cooks and she also solves the problems in our house.

Like the cytoskeleton of a cell, the bricks frame my house. the cytoskeleton as well as bricks create a shell for a structure.
