One day, the Little Princess and her friend the Dragon Who Couldn’t Breath Fire were playing in the castle. They were playing hide-and-seek in the castle. They were running all around when all of the sudden they heard some trumpets go “Do Doo Do DOOOOO!”

That meant that the knights had come back from their adventure. So the Little Princess and the Dragon ran to the window to see the knights in their shining armor come back from their big adventure.

They saw them racing in on their strong white horses with their shields and their swords shining in the sun. It was AWESOME!

The Little Dragon said, “I wish I could be a knight.

The Little Princess said, “That would be so fun! I wish I could be a knight, too!”

The Little Dragon laughed and said, “Princesses can’t be knights, can they?”

The Princess said, “Sure they can! We’re just as strong and as good as anybody!”

Dragon replies, “Ya, you would probably be a really good knight. You always find me when we play hide and seek. I bet you could find all sorts of adventures.”

The Princess said, “Ya. Speaking of, you’re it!” And she ran off to hide.

The Dragon had to close his eyes and count to ten, then yelled “Ready or not, here I come!” He went down the hall and looked behind the curtains and he still couldn’t find the princess. So he went into another room and looked under the tables and the chairs and still couldn’t find the princess. Then he went into the kitchen, but everyone told him to get out because he kept knocking over all of the dishes.
