¨Hey, what’re you doing up there?” Plantboy had been taking a stroll around his brand new neighborhood and didn't expect to see a strange boy on top of a house.
Spaceboy looked down and sighed. “I’d like to touch the stars, but no matter how high I get, I can't.”

“Well, be careful up there, you could get hurt!” he called up to the stranger.
“Don't tell me what to do.” Spaceboy told him defensively.

Plantboy sheepishly stood there, and stared at his shoes. “You know, the stars are pretty far away. How are you going reach them? You might need some help.”
Spaceboy thought for a moment. “Yeah, alright. I’m Spaceboy.”
“Cool! I’m Plantboy.”
Spaceboy waved down to him. “Nice to meet you!”
Plantboy smiled and sat down. “What do you know about the stars?”
“Well, look at those stars.”He pointed to the sky. “They make a shape!”
Plantboy tilted his head. “How?”
"You have to connect the stars, like connecting the dots!” He traced the shape with his finger. “See? This one looks like a spoon. And that one looks like a bull! They're called constellations.
“Awesome! Hey, look at that one!” Plantboy said as he pointed to a constellation that looked like two fish.
Spaceboy looked to the sky and stood up, “Where? I can't see it.”
Spaceboy wandered to the edge of the roof.
“Careful, Spaceboy! You might-” It was too late. He got a little too close, and his foot slipped!
Plantboy rushed over and caught Spaceboy. He gently set him down. “Are you okay?”
Spaceboy brushed himself off. “Yeah, I’m fine. Thank you.”
“SpaceboY!” a voice called from the distance, “Time to come home!”
“Okay, Mom! I have to go, Plantboy. See you later!” Spaceboy waved as he ran back to his house.
Plantboy woke up from his pleasant dream. His room, usually a pale green, was painted up with vibrant pinks and yellows as the sun rose.
After yawning, he quickly sprung out of bed and ran to the window. He gently held his bud and put it directly in the sun’s rays .“PlantboY!” called his mother, “Time for breakfast!!”
“Coming, mom!” Plantboy called back, running out of his room.
“SpaceboY!” Spaceboy’s mother’s voice boomed through his house, “Get up! We’re going to meet the new neighbors”
“Awww c’mon, mom, do we have to?” Spaceboy grumbled back, rubbing sleep from his eyes.
“Yes, they just moved in and we should be polite,” she said sternly. “Besides, I think they have a boy about your age.”
Spaceboy finally rolled out of bed, got ready, and walked over to the new neighbor’s house.
As they walked up to the house, Spaceboy saw lots of vines covering it and a greenhouse in the backyard.
Knock, knock, knock!
Plantboy rushed to the door after hearing a knock. When he opened the door, he saw....
Spaceboy!
“Hey! What are you doing here? I just saw you last night!”
“Yeah! I didn't know you were new here!”
Plantboy’s mom joined the conversation. “Yeah, we just moved in two days ago. I'm Plantboy’s mom, Lily.”
“Welcome to the neighborhood! I'm Spaceboy’s mom, Nova. Nice to meet you! I brought you a gift basket.
“Why thank you! Would you like to join us for some tea?”
“Yes, of course!” Nova said as she and Spaceboy walked inside.
“Why don't you show Spaceboy around the house, Plantboy?” Asks his mom. Plantboy nodded as he led Spaceboy up the huge staircase towards his room. When they got there, Plantboy quickly jumped onto his new bed.
“I like your room,” Spaceboy said as he shuffled into his room.
“Yeah. Sorry it's a bit boring, we haven't fully unpacked yet.” He was silent for a moment. “Hey, do you wanna see something awesome?”
Spaceboy’s face lit up. “Sure.”
Plantboy grinned and climbed off his bed. “Follow me.”
The two snuck out the back door, trying their best not to disturb their moms. Plantboy led Spaceboy through the yard into a slightly worn down glass hut. "My mom says that it's all mine. I’m going to care for it and turn it into the coolest greenhouse in the world!”
Spaceboy looked around, amazed. “This is the coolest place ever!”
Plantboy turned around and grabbed a tiny flower pot. “This is all I have so far. It's a sunflower. I heard they can grow to be as tall as a building!”
“Woah! It's almost tall enough to touch the sky!”
“Yeah it is...” Plantboy’s voice trailed off. That gave him an idea!
“SpaceboY! PlantboY!” called a voice from the house.
“That was my mom, we should probably head back,” Spaceboy told him.
“Alright, let's go!”
After Spaceboy and his mom left, Plantboy started to work on his brilliant idea. Once he was finished for the day, he went back inside to wash off the soil on his hands.
After a long day of working on his project, he decided to head over to Spaceboy’s house. The sun had already set, and Nova directed him to the backyard where he was in his treehouse. He claimed all the way up the ladder to find Spaceboy looking out of his telescope.
“Hey! I didn't know you had a treehouse.” Plantboy says, making Spaceboy jump.
“Oh! Hey Plantboy, you startled me!”
“Sorry! I like your treehouse.”
