Suzie walked up to her mom one day and said, "I want a bike". Her mom looked back at her and said, "if you want a bike, you have to pay for some of it"."But how will I get money!" Suzie said. Her mom said, "You have to help act responsible and help around the house and do some chores". Suzie did not like the sound of that, but she knew her mother wouldn't change her mind.

When Suzie went to bed that night, she laid awake and thought about the bike she really wanted. She told herself that starting the next morning, she would do anything she could to earn some money for it.

Suzie started off her morning by doing the dishes. She had never done them before, but she realized it wasn't hard to do at all.

Suzie then decided that the next chore she should do is take the dog for a walk. She put Sparky on a leash and walked around the block for 15 minutes.

When Suzie walked back into the house, she saw her mom was folding and hanging up the laundry. She decided to help her mom by taking the clothes out of the laundry basket and handing it to her so she can hang it up on the clothespin.
